Blog #1 - Why I chose this course and my favorite film/food film I have many favorite things in this world, and two of those things just happen to be food and movies. I love food, especially good food that I can really enjoy, and one of my favorite activities to do i s to go to the movies . Movies that involve some aspect of food also interest me , because I enjoy watching people cook. I also enjoy looking at good food in films because it makes me want to try the food that is being shown. A lot of the time when scenes center around food, or take place in a restaurant, those scenes are usually memorable for me, because they are either entertaining , or contain “big movie moments.” T his is why I decided to take this course. The title and the course description drew me in instantly when my advisor read both to me . I could connect to two of the ideas that the course was about, food and film.
